Welcome Fine wines - Fair Prices Lawton Winery, founded in 1998, is built on the concept of complete integration of our vineyard care and the wines produced in the winery. Our vines were planted in 1987 (Riesling) and 1990 and 2001 (Pinot Noir). The winery was built in 1999, and our first crush here was in October 2000.  Location and Visiting Lawton Winery is located six miles out of Newberg, on the beautiful Chehalem Mountains. The winery is located on the vineyard, and all our wines are produced from our own carefully tended vines. Small and friendly, we are a boutique winery producing fewer than 1000 cases a year. We are open to the public for tasting over the Memorial Day and Thanksgiving week-ends. At any other time, most week-ends, just give us a call, if we're home  (and we usually are) -  for an intimate, complimentary tasting experience.
